The Hammerheads will host the Real Maryland Monarchs Wednesday at Legion Stadium. This is the last regular season home for the Hammerheads and has been designated fan appreciation night. 
Fans will all receive admission for only $5 and during half-time the 2009 team awards will be presented.
The Hammerheads are coming off a tough 1-0 loss on Saturday evening to Richmond. The Hammerheads currently stand in second place in the division with 35 points and a record of 11-5-2. A win on Wednesday over Real Maryland would once again tie them with Richmond for first place which would make Saturday’s game at Richmond the deciding factor in whom will take the regular season crown.
The Hammerheads will also host the semifinals of the 2009 playoffs on Saturday, August 22 at Legion Stadium. Tickets are on sale for this game via wilmingtonhammerheads.com or by calling 910-202-0518.
