The Hammerheads are back in action tomorrow night, June 5th, against the Bermuda Hogges. They are coming off a tough home loss last Saturday against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and are looking to get back on track after losing their last two games.
The Hammerheads and Hogges have already met twice this season, the first match ending with a 0-0 tie and the second with a Hammerheads victory, 1-0. The Hammerheads are currently 4th in the USL-2 standings with 11 points and a 3-2-2 record. Bermuda comes into the match at 3-3-1 with 10 points and tied for fifth in the standings right behind the Hammerheads.
Hammerheads Head Coach David Irving commented “After last weekend disappointing loss to Pittsburgh we are fortunate to have a chance to get things right this weekend at home. We definitely need to get the three points tomorrow night to rebound.”
Friday’s match is very crucial in terms of positioning in the USL-2 standings and the Hammerheads are expecting a battle when the Hogges come to town. The game is set to kickoff at 7:00pm. The gates will open at 5:30pm for the Buffalo Wild Wings Tailgate Party with live music by The Radio Flyer Band and free wings.
