Internship Opportunities with the Hammerheads
The Wilmington Hammerheads have the follwing internships available for fall, spring and summer semesters. Qualifications include computer experience, a positive attitude and a passion for the game!
Ticket Sales
Assist in sale of season and group tickets. Sell and service new and existing season ticket and group accounts (including sponsor accounts). Responsible for coordinating game day will call tickets.
Game Day Operations
Assist Director of Game Day Operations with pre game setup and game night responsibilities. Assist with promotions and game night activities.
Referee Liaison
Prepare referee packs for game day. Set up referees locker room with water, towels, etc.
Media Relations
Assist in preparing all news releases, monthly newsletter and game day script.
Community Relations
Coordinate player appearances including community events, birthday parties, etc.
Team Managers
Responsible for coordinating team travel. Assist with equipment for all home and away games.
Mascot
Our beloved mascot, Finnegan, is in high demand! If you love to dance (but you're a little shy) this position will "suit" you just fine!
