Matt Sadler - General Manager

Matt Sadler is in his third year working the Wilmington Hammerheads. Sadler earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Methodist University in 2003. While at Methodist Sadler was a four year starter on the Men’s Soccer team and was named captain during his senior season. He and his wife Mary Lawrence moved to Wilmington in March 2011 and share their home with their one year old daughter, Eliza Grier Sadler.
Prior to joining the Hammerheads staff Sadler worked for three seasons as the Men’s Assistant soccer Coach at Methodist University. Matt Sadler also has experience as assistant athletic director, physical education teacher, and boys and girls soccer coach at Fayetteville Christian School. Sadler’s boys’ soccer team at Fayetteville Christian went to the State Final Four twice. During his time there Matt was named the Conference Coach of the Year, NCSCA Region I Coach of the Year, and North Carolina State Coach of the Year in 2008. He also holds a "B" license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
Post season, Matt will join the Cape Fear Community College Sea Devils as the Men’s Head Soccer Coach.

Danielle Dorantich – Marketing and PR Manager

Danielle Dorantich originally hails from Newport, North Carolina. She graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington where her main focus was marketing and public relations. This is her second year with the Wilmington Hammerheads; however, Dorantich has been involved with soccer since her youth and still plays in her free time. While she is not working, Dorantich likes to travel, run, and spend time with family and friends, as well as her dog, Tobey. She also enjoys going out on the boat, fishing, and college basketball.

Danielle Osborne – Director of Operations

Danielle Osborne is originally from Harrisburg, North Carolina and is currently residing in Wilmington, NC working for the Wilmington Hammerheads. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she majored in Parks and Recreation and was involved in UNCW Cross Country Athletics. Prior to the Hammerheads, Osborne was an Account Executive in Corporate Partnerships at D.C. United for five years after beginning as an intern and volunteer with the organization for two previous seasons. She handled contact with local and national sponsors, promotional campaigns, and oversaw game day marketing operations. In her free time Osborne enjoys running, sushi, beach bars, NASCAR, and long walks on the beach.

Amanda Blackwell – Director of Sales

Amanda came to Wilmington from Cazenovia, NY, and graduated from University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a BS Degree in Marketing.  Blackwell served as Director of On-Field Promotions with the Wilmington Sharks baseball organization while attending college.  After working with marketing agency Rainmaker Marketing upon graduation, Blackwell returned to the Sharks as Assistant General Manager.  After two seasons, Blackwell was promoted to General Manager and became the first-ever female General Manager in the Coastal Plain League.  She joined the Wilmington Hammerheads after assisting schools and non-profit groups in four counties with fundraising.  Amanda has been involved in soccer her entire life, playing goalkeeper in high school, college and with PISA.  She has also recently coached with PISA and Port City Soccer, and has two daughters, Alex (6) and Tristin (5).
